Home Educational Program

Our Home Education Program provides a structured and individualized educational environment for students from K - 5. Our program

supports students with learning disabilities by integrating academic instruction with ABA. Instruction focuses on academic growth, communication, social development, and independence

Curriculum Overview

 

Our program utilizes The Good and The Beautiful Curriculum, a standards-aligned and

research-based curriculum designed to promote strong academic foundations through

structured and engaging lessons. This curriculum is integrated with ABA-based teaching

strategies to support individualized learning and skill acquisition.

Class Description by Grade

Kindergarten (Ages 5-6)

 

Focus on early literacy using phonics-based instruction from The Good and The Beautiful curriculum, including letter sounds, blending, and simple reading. Math includes counting, number recognition, and basic addition. Science introduces basic concepts through exploration. Instruction is delivered in small groups with ABA support for communication and school readiness.

1st Grade (Ages 6–7)

 

Focus on reading fluency, comprehension, and sentence writing

aligned with curriculum standards. Math includes addition, subtraction, and number sense. Science includes observation and foundational topics. ABA strategies support attention,

transitions, and social interaction in small group settings.stimulating, so your child can explore and discover in a fun and secure environment.

2nd Grade (Ages 7–8)

Focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary, and structured writing using curriculum materials. Math includes problem-solving, addition, subtraction,

and early multiplication. Science promotes inquiry-based learning. Instruction is individualized within small groups to build independence

Focus on advanced reading comprehension, paragraph writing, and

grammar aligned with curriculum progression. Math includes multiplication, division, and multi-step problem-solving. Science emphasizes understanding and applying concepts. ABA supports organization and independent work.the dietary needs of children of all ages.

Assessment & Progress Monitoring

 

Student progress is monitored through ongoing assessments, data collection, and individualized learning plans. Each student is evaluated upon enrollment to determine their current academic level and learning needs. Instruction is guided by measurable goals aligned with grade-level standards and individualized objectives. Progress is tracked using

work samples, skill tracking, and performance-based assessments. Teachers adjust instruction based on data to ensure skill acquisition and generalization. Progress reports

are provided regularly, and communication with parents is maintained to support student success.
